Horse trekking
in the Trièves and the Vercors
Treks lasting from 1 to 6 days in a star shape to and fro the cottages are available.
Your guide will make you discover the most typical and most remote sites in the region: Trieves, Dévoluy Matheysine, Vercors ...
Each hike is chosen according to the equestrian level of the riders, their desires and their availability.
The nights are spent in the cottage, in a refuge, in a barn or even under the stars.
Supervision is provided by Jérôme or Noël Descombes, , Accompagnateurs Tourisme Equestre du pays (ATE n°03898ED3445 and n°03805ED3490).
Number of participants: 5 to 8 persons.
Possibility to pick you up the night before from the train station Clelles-Mens.
For all equestrian activities we have two points of departure:
- Les Gîtes de Mialaure - Clelles : October to April included
- Le Gîte de l'Obiou - Mens : May to September included

InitiationInitiation begins with the approach of the horse, take him to the park, the cure (brushing, pick his feet, trim) and seal properly. Maybe you'll attend to the shoeing. It's Jérôme who trims and shoes the horses throughout the summer.Read on |
